Autumn comes to Peroulia Beach, and the locals abandon their brollies and sun loungers on the shore. Far too cold, they say.

That red umbrella again 🙂 You remembered how much I like it 😀 Fantastic composition dear Tish. Thank you!
Thank you, Paula. Always happy to please with a good brolly 🙂
😆
Yes and it has finely cooled of here as well. Won’t last but feels good.t
🙂
I love the startling red in this image….very dramatic. I am quite sure I would still be sitting and walking on the beach – Janet 🙂
Oh you would have been. It truly was very pleasant, if not for swimming then for a very good paddle. In fact summer weather for us used to British climes.
Something different….after a very bowling Summer…..
The RED in this photo doesn’t seem to match with the idea of cold!
No, it actually wasn’t cold – at least not to us Brits, but we were told the locals found it very shivery when temps dropped into the 20s.
A hot shot Tish – out with a bang not a whimper
From what I gathered, I think that would probably fit quite well with the Greek frame of mind.
Awww. 😦 Great red, Tish.

Probably perfect weather for exploring, nice umbrella shot!
Yes, I’m not sure how we’d have tackled the hilly lanes in the heat. V.v. slowly I guess.
How convenient to leave the brolly. Do you think it stays there permanently? Makes for a great composition…
A lot of stuff looked as if it stayed there permanently, beach mats and loungers fading into the natural beach debris from the olive groves and phragmites grass canes. And then there were all the big wonky beach shelters made from the grass canes. A suggestion of people returning when the weather returned to full-on sun.
Sounds all very rustic and great for photography…
In your last post it seemed the end of the world was nigh. I am glad it is only the end of the season. 😉 😉
Shows how one can get things out of proportion 🙂 Though we’re in for more stormy onslaughts tomorrow. Not sure if this means a red sun too.
A beautiful capture, a sign of fall. 🙂
Thank you, Amy.
