Thanks, Margaret. I love teasels, though not when they’re spreading themselves about too liberally 🙂 Reply
I like the hedgerow shot but teasels are hard to beat. Have anything fun planned for the weekend? Reply
What an unusual sky in photo 2, but I love the teasels too. Agree with Jude, great pen and ink sketch Reply
Ah. That would explain it. Hawks build nests like that too and long after the hawks leave, the nests are still “up there.”
Great shots. I especially like the teasels: aren’t they photogenic?

I’m with Margaret, the tease are my favorite to 😀 😀 Wonderful response Tish 😀
Many thanks, Cee.
Beautiful images Tish! Loved them all. They are all artistic and moody.
Many thanks, Anne. Am loving those adjectives – artistic and moody 🙂
😊
Yup! Teasels win for me too – looks like a pen and ink drawing.
Thanks, Jude.
Let’s hear it for the teasels!
Teasels are taking a bow 🙂
🤗💗
These are so lovely 🙂
Many thanks, Hammad.
Love the teasels!
They definitely seem to be the winners here 🙂
Judging by the comments, yes!
Oh the teasel … I’m undone. Magnificent!
Happy to bring you teasels, Lisa 🙂

Keeping warm seems the first priority, Janet 😉 Happy weekend to you.
And to you as well.
Love that bird silhouette on Sytche Lane Rookery. What do you think he is carrying? Snake?
That’s a good question. I think it’s most likely to be a piece of nesting material.
Ah, most likely. I was thinking it was a winter shot, so I wasn’t thinking nesting material.
It could have been taken around March, when the trees would still be bare.
These are fabulous Tish 🙂
Thank you, Brian.

Thanks, Pauline.
It looks like the crow (raven?) has a snake in his beak!
I think it may be a piece of nesting material. Rooks build very twiggy nests.
