Takes me bak to my school days and a great trip to the area
Seems school trips to Ironbridge have quite a history in themselves 🙂
😀 It’s quite a sight, isn’t it?!
It’s under wraps at the moment – having a bit of TLC.
Indeed it is, Ron. And a tourist attraction since the day it was built in 1799.
I’m having trouble counting these, Tish. Must be the red 🙂 🙂
Love the 6-word challenge Tish – beautiful choice!!
Thank you, Tina.
that’s a great looking bridge, looks like old bed springs run amok, lol–it’s amazing how well old iron holds up, modern cast iron rusts in a short fog, this stuff goes on forever…
I see what you mean about the bed springs!
Nice to read about its history. thanks or posting the link.
Dropping by from 6WS
Thank you, Suzy, for dropping by and commenting 🙂
A game changer of a bridge!
Nicely put, Gilly.
Bridging the gap between art and functionality?
Definitely, Ark. How are you this morning? Here we have sun but frosty temps.
‘Bridging the gap’ !!! Nice one. Heavens, brain is on go-slow this morning 🙂 🙂 🙂
It’s probably the cold/snow.
Ask me about the weather here today … I dare you!
I could always ”threaten” you with photos, of course.
Oh go on then – show me. I can take it.
Give me a few moments …
