Paula has truly set us a challenge this week: DECONSTRUCTION. So as my stab at this school of philosophical thought, here is an abstracted opium poppy, its stamens and petals being blown off in the wind: caught in the act of deconstruction then: from flower to seed capsule. The cycle of life in all its parts.
Yes, this fits the theme. Very glad you could join in so soon, Tish. Thank you very much.
Ha! I did as I was told and went to your challenges page π So for once I was ready with a pic, though it certainly challenged my ‘little grey cells’.
I am honoured that I challenged you, Tish.
Big hug back to you!

Great interpretation of deconstruct, Tish…made me smile.
Well done Tish, this is a tough challenge!
Thank you, Gilly π
Wonderfully dramatic, Tish! Jude has a superb white variation. I’d be torn to choose between the two of you. π π
Life deconstructs us all. One petal at a time.
Well put!
great image, Tish. I am very partial to poppies myself and this captures their mysterious essence very well.
They are mysterious, aren’t they. You are right, Annette. The biggest mystery too is how this year we had such a flock of them along our fence, where they had never been before. They moved in on us.
Volunteers, then…I love when that happens and have seen it with a lot of wildflowers on my own property.
