I too have the white one, but popping out to look at the weekend revealed it is still in bud form. Well, at least I hope they are flower buds emerging.
Exquisite, Tish – what a way to greet spring! My poor hellebore had its leaves frozen in the really cold weather we had this past month. I am hoping it will recuperate….
Stunning detail, Tish.
Thanks, Jennie.
Youβre welcome, Tish.
OMG, what a photo!

Beautiful flower. I have never grown them but really must give it a go. Any thing that grown in winter is a yea.
As a species they seem pretty tough – and there’s a HUGE variety, which can of course lead to hellebore lust.

I’m sure they are buds. They’re pretty tough. I think mine was already flowering under the snow in December. I’m sure it had its reasons π

A lovely winter dancer!
She is, isn’t she.
Stunningly beautiful. Love how you captured the details. π
Thank you, Amy.
