I’m glad to hear that there IS a real refuge. We have lots of squirrels because effectively, this part of Massachusetts is mostly trees. Probably close to 75% is trees from here out to Connecticut — and it’s mostly trees in that part of Connecticut too. But there aren’t many mostly treed areas in this country. Between the fires, farms, cities, suburbs, condos, malls, and parking lots, many squirrels and birds simply die for lack of a place to live.
Love your fallen sun! i can’t get a horizon — too many trees. We have to drive somewhere else to get that view, but i do love it.
What a wonderful interpretation of the word!
magical downlight in a forest – perfect #JanuaryLight
Thank you, becky.
How wonderful that red squirrels are now with you…..they are so beautiful….and I do love this picture. Enjoy this January day. Janet 🙂
Happy days to you too, Janet.
Very good, Tish!
Thanks, Sue.
Truly magical Tish.
Thanks, Su. Happy New Year, if I’ve not said so already. Am losing track so soon in the new decade…
I know the feeling 😀
Now you’ve given me a notion 🙂

It’s good to discover that some things seem to be working to the benefit of someone or something. Happy New Year to you and Garry.
How beautiful. Thank you
Thanks, Suzanne.
If you left off the “downlight”, you could have used that lovely photo tomorrow for Six Word Saturday. 🙂

You too. A healthy happy one with more photos and beautiful views and stories of the UK!
And it looks like no-one’s bothered to pick it up again, yet. 🙂
They didn’t! How very careless 🙂
Heh, heh, heh … I’m sure someone will … at some point. 🙂
