How wonderful that you are there right now. I love Cornwall and particularly at this time of the year. Superb images….I hope you get to enjoy a lovely pub lunch overlooking the sea. janet 🙂
Hi Janet. Sad to say, we’re not there this minute. Could do with a hearty Cornish pub lunch now that you mention it 🙂 Happy week to you.
It was my pleasure to go visit Tina, as it is to always visit here!
That’s very very nice of you, GP 🙂
Stormy indeed!
I can almost hear the crashing waves.
I love the steely blue of this. There is such power in the sea.
Indeed. Nothing like it, though we often forget quite how powerful it may be.
What a glorious shot!
The second oil my father painted was a stormy Cornish seascape somewhat similar to this, when he began taking lessons while we were stationed at St Athans in South Wales.
I wonder where that painting is now? I must ask him.
It was an amazing day, brilliant sun, but a wild, wild sea.
I can hear them…
They were pretty loud 🙂
😊
Wonderful, Tish! 🙂 🙂
🙂
A remarkable image, Tish! 🙂
Thank you, Amy.
Great shot Tish. Cornwall is definitely on my list. (Despite the obvious cooooold!) 😉
Kwaheri sassa.
It can do HOT too 🙂
I imagine it can. In fact I would love to spend a few weeks in the UK. Believe it or not, I’ve only ever spent a few days at a time. 😦
Cornwall is very beautiful so definitely worth a good few days for exploration, and especially the less touristy parts of the south east coast.
I’ve had this dream of “walking the cliffs” ever since a book I read a few years ago. Some day, some day… Kwaheri sassa Memsahib.
Whitsand Bay and nearby Rame Head is the place then 🙂 here’s a taster: https://windwhistlewhitsandbay.co.uk/
Looks good. Thank you Tish. I wonder whether us Frogs will need a visa after Brexit? 😉
Have a lovely week-end.
So dramatic!
I like your interpretation of the challenge
Thank you, Pauline.
I love your choice to show such beautiful shadows on the sea! Loved sailing in Cornwall and can’t wait to find my way back to her shores along the southwest coast of England #someday
I can imagine it’s a fine place to sail – and all the ghosts of smugglers past in the old coastal ports.
