Well I can see some. Canβt you?
Oh all right. Here are some more spottable ones – as seen from the Stiperstones on the day of our recent sin eater quest. The hill in the background is the Long Mynd β a small segment of its westerly flank.

Forget the roofs Tish, I love the sheep and their adolescent lambs, almost ready to be lamb chops!
Sssh. They’ll hear. Just don’t mention mint sauce π

I love the landscape and the sheep are spectacular π
They are very appealing sheep, I agree π
Beautiful country, roofs or no roofs/rooves. Lots of hooves, though, she added sheepishly. π

GROAN…!

Baaaaa!
Thank ewe.
π
such a serene place of beauty
It is amazingly serene, Beth.
I love your lovely and handsome sheep against the lush green. They make me want to knit.
Nothing like the sight of good fleece to get the knitting bug going π
You are so right!
FIne landscape. Appreciated.
I love the unblemished green of it.
Yes, unblemished green. Thank you for that comment, Peter.
what I would like to travel this beautiful countryside on horseback, in the fields and the meeting of sheep
Bon idee, Yoshimi. There are lots of trails for horse riders too.
i’m ok
Distant roofs! But great landscape as well
There’s much to be said for the Shropshire Hills. And so little known too, generally speaking.
Indeed
We spent one Christmas near there. A completely different world.
That sounds like something out of Malcolm Saville Lone Pine yarn – Christmas on the Stiperstones
Oh, I used to love those books! And yes, it really does.
I loved them too π
While the roofs are visible, the sheep in the pastoral landscape are far more impressive. Great shot, Tish!
Thank you, Peter.
Growing up my father was a pilot and we hade several small planes over the years. I always enjoyed the patch work quilt look of the ground below us as we flew over head. Your picturess remind me.
Those sound like lovely memories Beverly. And very nice to think my photos prompted their recollection π
Wonderful landscape!
It is, isn’t it. Sharing it around makes me remember to appreciate it π
Sheep may safely graze! What a peaceful landscape – Englandβs green and pleasant land indeed. (Any more quotes lurking in my sieve-brain???)
Well they’re most apt quotes – at least as far as the countryside is concerned.
No one said they could be DISTANT rooves, right?
That’s what I thought π
couldn’t be, not could be
Brilliant capture. Love it you have us all squinting and thinking mint sauce at the same time π
Thank you, Becky π π
Well, such a clever interpretation!
Grazie, Anna.
Those sheep are so lovable. A great pleasure to tour with you… especially on your home territory.
It’s very nice to show you around π
