Well, it had to be done didn’t it. This week Ailsa’s theme is BEHIND, and this was the first photo I thought of, taken in the Maasai Mara years ago. It’s been a while I think since I last posted it, and bears a re-run.
Also as behinds go, you can’t get much bigger (or wrinklier for that matter) than jumbo-size, and the elephant babe looks so sweet, standing behind its mama. I thought everyone might like an aaaaah moment.
Oh, marvellous! Someone had to do it !!
What a photo…..!
Moving, too….
Love it Tish!! 🙂
Everyone would! 🙂 🙂
Hard to resist an ele infant :0
I really love elephants. Their family values need to be copied by a lot of people.
A lot of wisdom in what you say.
A delicious photo – and a request. I send postcards to the twins, made with TouchNote. Could I possibly use this photo? And please feel free to say an emphatic no!
Of course you may, Meg.
For shear size of the behind, I think you win! Thanks for the post and the chuckle.
Glad it made you laugh 🙂
You beat me to it!

What a great shot. Room for two I feel 🙂
This is terrific!
Awww. BIG behinds. Even the little behind is a pretty big one 😀
Love. That little one is so heart-melting.
Alison
Haha!
It had to be done and you did it so well
🙂
So sweet. And, yes, a good chuckle was had.
The baby is adorable. Aaaaah.
🙂
Love it!
OMG that is an incredibly sweet photo. Love Elephants
Was that one of your elephant photos in the Vanity Fair gallery? It’s a superb composition.
That was The Captains (and he thanks you for your lovely compliment). Before Amandla, Fabio spent 2 years photographing wildlife in Tanzania. All the Africa pictures from there, and a subsequent trip to Ethiopia were taken before we met. But lucky for me, health permitting, The Captain and I will sail to Africa in 2018 so I can make my own Elephant photos.
Wonderful!
