Between yesterday and today, TONS of leaves fell. In fact, in about two hours, while we were doing some shopping, most of the trees in town went bare. So I wonder … who’s going to clean up the mess? It’s raining, so there will be no raking or blowing until it all dries out … and here is SO much. AND it’s getting cold.
I’m suffering from leaf envy now. So many all at once! They make brilliant leaf mould when rotted (which takes a bit of time). But just right for sowing seeds.
Beautiful autumn leaves.
Thanks, Cee π
Lovely leaves!

Better than a cranberry crumble! (To look at, not eat of course.)
I rather feel I could eat them. Daft I know. Cranberry crumble sounds good though.
Lovely, aren’t they? π I have a hard time walking past a pile of leaves these days.
They do look delicious don’t they when they’re freshly fallen and dry. Just want to kick around in some of the piles π
Glorious colours, Tish. π
Thank you, Sylvia

Reminds me of tramping though the woods up the Duke’s Drive in Chester.
Leaves for the leaf pile!

Amazing colors… Isn’t it beautiful the way nature dresses its leaves?
Yes, indeed, Dr. Y. She has a super-duper paintbox all her own.
Superb! Splendid autumn impression, Tish.
Thank you, Dina π The leaves complement your dahlias.
