And just how much do I love this, Tish? A sea of sand, rippled and forever changing! It is almost like we were lifted up from my scarab photo to see the big picture of the desert and all its shaded patterns. Magnificent!
We only spent one night there, but yes, the stars, and then dawn were spectacular. Sleeping in a small tent, pitched on the sand was v. uncomfortable though, even with sleeping bags. Our Tanzanian driver-guide had the best night sleeping in the open back of his Land Cruiser with his feet out the door. He snored. All night!
Beautiful image Tish, of an endless pattern.
Thank you, Narayan. That is well put: ‘an endless pattern’.
this is mesmerizing
An ever changing landscape. Pretty in a simple way.
Beautiful!

That is a very lovely comment, A-C. Some mutual creating between your post and mine. What could be better.

Thanks, Janet. Shot in the days of good old fuji film. And some very cooperative sunset lighting.

Mesmerising, aren’t they.
Certainly are!
Great shot Memsahib. Mzuri sana. Where was that? Sahara?

Ah yes. That’s a nice thought to think of. Le Petit Prince.
If you ever stumble across “Terre des hommes” or its English version do read it. A masterpiece.
I will look for it.
Hope you like it. I am a fervent reader of “Saint-Ex”.
Take care.
What an image, Tish! It’s as if one can reach out and touch the sand!
