  1. What a beauty.
We had a large mauve shrub of unknown species down the side of our old house in Chester and it always attracted Admirals and Peacocks.

That advice? Doesn’t work, does it? πŸ™‚

    1. Probably buddleia then, as in the pix of mauve flowers. They’re big straggly shrubs that grow like weeds and anywhere. In the summer the one in the allotment was filled with butterflies.
Nope. Don’t suppose I’ll take any notice of my own writing advice 😦

  2. Good morning. When I was visiting a friend in Southfields/Wimbledon on Friday – in her sheltered, warm (yes the sun was shining) garden a butterfly came. It was such a lovely sight and a reminder of days to come. Janet πŸ™‚

  3. Wonderful,Tish! Your lovely images and words put a big smile on my face this sunny morning.
Only last week I had a note in my hand:
“Realise what you really want. It stops you from chasing butterflies and puts you to work digging gold.”

  4. No, I think that chasing butterflies… or at least enjoying them as they come to you is far preferable to writing… just the thoughts of one reader…

  5. Stunning, Tish! I am astounded by the colours and how you’ve managed to catch them so beautifully!

Yes please, to the writing; don’t know about more time at the desk, though! Would not want to miss out on more butterfly shots!
