You and Sue have been having the same thoughts today. I almost bought a white Japanese Anemone – Whirlwind I think it was called, but didn’t as I’m not sure where I would plant it. I am regretting that now.
A beautiful photo. And very apt for all the special “Light” days, at the beginning of Nov, ( All Saints and Diwali come to mind). Did you celebrate Diwali in Kenya? And also nice to think of the light of peace which came on 11 Nov, 100 years ago, this Sunday.
Diwali was indeed a big affair in Kenya, though it also induced some sense of panic during the later Moi years – easy to mistake all the banging fireworks for a military coup.
Beautiful composition.
Cheers, Ark.
I like that extra little detail lower right – adds to the beauty here…
I like that bit too 🙂

They are so pleasing in late summer-autumn
Love it! I’ve only ever seen pink ones
Thanks, Sue. The white ones seem rather delicate souls and keep you on tenterhooks as to whether they’re going to survive or not.
Yikes
Beautiful photo Tish. The composition is wonderful.
Many thanks, Su.
That’s a pretty one. Can’t say I’m looking forward to coming back 😕😕
I can well imagine.
Coming back?
Home tomorrow to finalise things in the UK 😕 xx
Always loose ends to tie up a Job, hope it all goes well
I agree on the composition comments, Tish. Very well done.

Thanks, Janet.
Beautiful photo!

What a lovely flower! It does look like a wild swan.
It’s flowering in a very gloomy corner of the garden. I think I need to encourage it with some compost.
