What a beautiful photo. Such intensity, and blue is the perfect garb. I’ve just been reading Nabokov’s account of his first butterfly at about this age. You provide an image to match.
I have a nephew who absolutely loves bugs. He’s only 7, but he’s studies them for years now and delights in hunting them and watching them in their daily lives. Just last week he spent time at a boy scout day camp, and one of the “great highlights” of the week was getting to eat two different kinds of bugs. Eeeeewwwwwwwww!
Delightful.
Thank you, Ann. Hope all is well with you?
Life has been messy but I am happy to have some time, at long last, to read blogs again.
NIce to have you back 🙂
Love it!
Good-ee!
😀😀
Both. Delightful and I love it. 🙂

That sounds a nice piece of happenstance, Meg.
One for the album!

Oh the untainted enthusiasm of youth! Lovely to behold, Sandra. Definitely not sure about eating bugs though 🙂
Ow 🙂
