Perverse, I know, to be featuring this wintery scene as summer arrives in the northern hemisphere. Still, it seems to fit quite well with this week’s b & w challenge over at Cee’s. I’m thinking too that those poor souls who are presently being broiled by unnatural heatwaves across Europe might be glad of a cooling vista.
Plenty of lines in your photo this week. Thanks Tish. 😀
Love this B&W photo Tish!
Thank you, Agnes.
I like mono color but that is one strange tree. Is it vines growing all over the bottom?
It’s an ash tree, but ivy has colonised it, which is why it looks so weird. It’s a common feature round these parts.
Goodness, I was beginning to wonder if you are in the same hemisphere as me, Tish, then I read your words!!
🙂 🙂
There’s that barbed wire again! Makes me smile.
I did think of you when I posted the pic, Thom. That was a great piece you wrote about the other end of the fence 🙂
I like to include wires in pictures too. They make interesting angles in an otherwise flat sky. Also, sometimes the wires are interesting all by themselves! Love the barbed wire! Looks like my rose bushes.
Wires are good, I agree. Am v. fond of the barbed variety too.
