C-Curve by Anish Kapoor and reflective puddles courtesy of the rain god; photo taken several freezing Decembers ago in Kensington Gardens. You can spot the Farrells looking a bit stiff – centre twosome on the left.
Lens-Artists ~ Reflections Patti set the challenge this week. Her fantastic photo of the Chicago Bean sculpture by Anish Kapoor reminded me that I had photos of his work too.
Fabulous photo, but it does look cold!!!
I have photographs of this in the snow, with me upside down.
It was a fun piece all round, wasn’t it – whichever way up one ended up.
Gorgeous reflections – the autumn colours and green makes it so fresh too.
Thank you, Ann-Christine. Happy festive season to you – if I’ve not said that already 🙂
👼❤
This is beautiful!
Thanks, Lisa.
Fascinating!
Wow!
It’s a great photo of an interesting art installation. I expect it’s a very popular place for photographers!
It was part of a much bigger exhibition of reflective Kapoor objects all over the park. But it was too cold to go looking, which is shame. I think it was only a temporary display too.
That is a shame! Based on this one, it would have been an interesting exhibit!
Excellent shot!
Thanks, Brian.
This is fabulous and does remind me of the Chicago bean – I will now have to visit Patti to see her photo.
Fabulous photo Tish. MerryChristmas.
Merry Christmas to you too. I was of course thinking of your Anish Kapoor when I posted this. The man is a magician.
He certainly is 😀
This is great Tish! Perfect example!!
Manyt thanks, Tina. Happy holidays!
That is so fascinating! Beautifully captured, Tish.
What a bobby dazzler!!
And such fun. All the very best to you, Meg.
Anish Kapoor’s work is terrific. I’m so glad my shot inspired you to post your shot! All the best in 2019, Tish.
And to you, Patti.
Great photo!
